    INDIANA....


    Waitresses may not carry drinks into a restaurant or bar.

    Hotel sheets must be exactly 99 inches long and 81 inches wide.

    If any persone had a puppet show, wire dancing or tumbling act in the state of Indiana and recieves money for it, they will be fined $3 un the Act to Prevent Certain Immoral Practices

    Anyone 14 or older who profanely curses, damns or swears by the name of God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Ghost, shall be fined one to three dollars for each offense, with a maximum fine of ten dollars per day.

    Thanks to cubslover for detailing the number of things of which I'm guilty, being as how I live in the Hoosier State.

    This is precisely the sort of thing that led to me including the quote from a fictional viking, following my signature on these posts.

    The consistent application of common sense would render probably 90+% of the laws in our country unnecessary and/or ridiculous. I'm sorry, did I say that out loud? Acting on what I just suggested would also put 90+% of lawyers and politicians out of work. How heartless of me to even think it....
