Modern-Day Toddler 'Artful Dodger' Seen in N.J. Arcade

Stunning new video shows a modern-day "Artful Dodger" being shoed under an arcade counter to swipe a purse in a New Jersey vacation town, MyFoxNY.com reports.

Surveillance footage shows an adult wearing a hat enter Lucky Leo's arcade in Seaside Heights, N.J., with two small children.

The person approaches a counter with one of the children, a toddler, and the girl is seen lying on the floor and then being nudged by the adult's foot to scurry under the counter. The child is seen taking a pocket book, skulking back through the small space under the counter and then leaving with the adult.

    The art of "Artful Dodging" is almost a lost art, it is exciting to see that it is having a comeback. From what I have read it was almost extinct. I have also been told that this is one of the things that Americans won't "do" anymore.

    LMAO. exactly, i have fond memories of this when i was a child. stupid PC america just isnt what it used to be.

    I met a guy who's grandfather taught him how to steal when he was a kid. He's now a crack addict who steals to buy drugs, and has been in and out of jail several times for it.
