SNOW!!!!

Believe it or not it is snowing here in NE Texas. Big fat flakes. Been at it all morning with no sign of letup.Of course the air temperature is in the mid-30s so the road surfaces are melting the snow as it hits, but there is some accumulation on the grass, trees, cars, etc.It is supposed to continue and get colder tonight. Might make getting to work interesting. To you Yankees this is no big deal, but down here in Texas, it is extraordinary.

    12-16" Estimated tonight. Upwards of 20 in some areas.

    If I don't show up for a while, don't worry about me(not that you would[:)]).

    Take what you need and pass it along. We need it here. Come spring the melting snow should help bring the water tables back up.

    I suspect our winters are alot alike. You must be thinking I'm near "The City". I am 5 hours north and west of it, on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. Can you say "lake effect"?

    Yeah I'm getting the same snow as you, cubs. Can't wait to get the tahoe out and play in it tomorrow morning.
