Proposed Gun Bans

I'm sure this has been discussed in the past but seriously, how can any logical human being think that the bad guys won't be able to get their hands on guns if some ban goes into effect after the elections. I know, politicians don't think logically, and Rosie has her own armed guards, but REALLY, just the idea that banning guns will stop crime is the most ill-conceived, dumbest statement I've ever heard. They are either unbelievably naive or (more likely) pandering to the stupid masses. And we have some pretty ignorant people in this country.

    I don't care if they CAN take all of the guns away from all of the criminals. It still wouldn't make it right.

    go ask senator dianne feinstain{D CA} if outlawing guns is the answear how come she has a carry permit? they outlawed handguns in england,austrailia,and canada. somehow people still seem to get shot with pistols in those countries.

    GUN BANS or Knives. You can cut a piece of cake with it, or you can cut a human throat with it. It's just an instrument used by humans to fulfill their own intentions.

    Wrong. Pistols are a bit more restricted than longarms in Canada and Australia, but are still perfectly legal for law-abiding gun owners to get their hands on. Out of those three you listed, only the British truly banned all handguns.

    Also, it would help if you could spell "Australia" correctly.
