    No

    Follow this link: http://maps.live.com/

Click on "aerial" which is located under the zoom function

Don't have to download anything either

It's not "aerial", it's satellite imaging, as far as I know there's just one provider of it, so they all get it from the same source, just like any geographical data, but for that there're actually 3 providers, but they all complement each other and everybody else, like maps.google.com or maps.yahoo.com or mapquest or maps.live.com they all buy from the same source.

Here's the same from yahoo: Right here

As a matter of fact, I just ran all three back to back and the picture from live.com is the worst, google has the sharpest one.

Edit: doh! Satellite imagery often is supplemented with aerial photography.

Thanks for the link...didn't know google's program was as far along as it is.

Anyways, here's my apartment in Ky....so far, microsoft has been best for me.

I apologize for the color, it's due to me copying and pasting into Paint

[8D]--The main thing with "google maps" is you visit at (best) noon time in the AREA(no shadows) you're looking at and always go to "HYBRID" then the roads are lable(at best)---

---I've found roads in the Sierras ,that I lost 30 yrs ago---

Then go to copy--and , man you can't beat it except--

--topo graph maps of a particular SPOT--

Very interesting, RO. I ran the same thing against my home office in San Jose, it was the complete opposite.

Btw, it didn't to the 3D view on where I live right now. Anyways, whatever works, imo, they all suck, some just suck a little more.

Just checked both on my house, and they both show a picture that is over 4 years old. Anyone else getting confirmed newer ones ?

Just checked out mine, anywhere from 7 to 5 months old. I know this because of the trampoline in the back yard and the truck in the drive. No swimming pool and no snow on the ground. Only been here 8 months and the first month was a ice storm and the pool went up in may. So no to shabby, best shot yet.

Just imagine what we are not seeing that they are[:0]

Did anyone else notice that the only color in that picture is red? Schindler's List ring a bell?
