Question: Can you put a 10/22 mag into a 96/22?

I don't have either, but I am curious. The Ruger 10/22 has a wide variety of magazines available for it, but are these magazines compatible with Ruger's other .22 rimfire repeaters, like the 77/22 and 96/22? My guess is yes, but I could be wrong.

  I have several 10/22's and a 77/22. All of the mags fit all of the guns I have. They are different mags though. The 77/22 mag has a flat bottom on it and the 10/22 mags have a rounded bottom.
  
  
  FWIW the Buttler Creek 25rd mags do not lock up in my 77/22 very well. They feed most of the time but fall out if bumped. There is a company that makes adjustable 25rd mags and they fit my 77/22 well. I just stick to the 10rd mags most of the time for the bolt gun.
