But he did lose a little of my respect withone of his newer songs!

And it is only one line of the song that made me feel this way!

The song is "Lets rebuild America First".

The one line in the song says "Let's get out of Iraq and get back on the track".

This is totally out of charector for Merle as he has allways supported our military actions, and even spoke out durring the days of Desert Storm about that we should have taken out Sadam then!

I do agree with the meaning behind the song in that we do have much to do within our own country, but we also need to handle the situations over seas that we have going to help protect those that are here in our country!

This is just my opinion! And that and 50 cents will get me a phone call!

I love Merle Haggard. He is still going strong too, his voice is still great.
