Dang David. My allergies must be acting up again because my eyes are watering.

Thank your sister for me and tell her, she's a true Texan and all of us are proud of both she and Jessi.

Tore me up...My Daughter Crystal misses her Dog, Jet, and never misses a chance to ask about Jet whenever she gets to call. They had been inseparable since I introduced them in December 1995, and brought Jet home for her first Christmas. Now, whenever we mention Crystal's name, Ol' Jet will usually whine, look at Crystal's bedroom door, and/or go and check if her buddy is home. In a week or two, Crystal will be coming home to have Christmas for perhaps the last time with Jet, her childhood friend. Jet is now old and going grey and blind.

What a nice story - Thanks!

Very nice story. Not long ago I went to the airport to greet one of our local boys, who was granted a 4 day pass from the hospital for Thanksgiving. Your heart really goes out to them.

Is your sister a journalist David? She has a great way with words.

Nice story and very well written.

To whom did she write this to, Nunn? Did it appear in newsprint?

I don't know. She may have sent it to the papers in her area, but she sent it to me as a Word file attached to her email.

    Nunn,
She should send it to the local papers...it's definitely print worthy.
