    Haven't seen one of those exactly, but I've seen a few units like that around. Only concern I ever had was fluids leaking from the top vehicle on to the bottom vehicle.

    The car being put on the top rack doesn't leak anything. However the lift can be ordered with drip trays to catch anything.

    They have locks at different heights to prevent that from happening.

    my buddy jay had one, but it was an actual car lift, worked like a charm! saved us a lot of money on oil changes and brakes, exhaust welding... He also had a 4 point lift next to it in his barn. The locks are very secure, i dont see how it could fall.

    I was going to suggest an ALM Corp. two point car lift. Dad bought one. It's standing in the shop, but never installed. He bought it at a good price.

    By the looks of their website, they have gotten out of the car hoist business.

    Nah, two pointers are cheaper to purchase and not as stable holding a car for a long period. BUT I am using the lift mainly to store the Corvette. Other Corvette will be below it. Third Corvette is parked inside along with her car. Cheapest way I can get another car inside a building without building another building. I just put one of the websites up that handles lifts. Companies are everywhere that sell them. Only thing I am concerned about is the weight of the unit with the car on it being too heavy for a concrete floor. Might have to cut out the areas where the legs sit and pour a pad and smooth the top out.
