J.C.Penny Marlin .22 long rifle
I have a marlin model 6660 22 lr, it also has J.C.Penny stamped on the barrel also,does anybody know what years j.c.penny sold guns?the gun is about 90-95% cond.

They were selling them in 1964 when I was a high school freshman and bought a Penny's marked Marlin as well. They had a fairly large
gun display as did Sears. It's a shame kids of today will never see that. I later traded it to my high school principal for a 6.5mm Italian Carcano carbine. Won't see anything like THAT again either, more's the pity............0 -
I believe until 1968, but they did not sell guns in all Penny stores. 0 -
