Just bought a book
Magnesium Overcast: The complete story of the Convair B-36. It out of publication in the States, but I did find it in England. I already have two of the publishing company's other books, Valkyrie: North American's Mach 3 Superbomber and Secret Soviet Bomber Projects. Both are very in depth and informative books and I'm expecting the same from the B-36 book. I love aviation history.

The Convair B-36 was an intriguing plane, but since it had piston driven engines it was obsolete almost from its introduction. When you heard the sound of the engines you instantly knew it was a B-36. The book will probably be very interesting. 0 -
