Steamed Sweet Taters

I was watching the Food Network and they said steaming sweet taters was the best way to cook them.

I have boiled them and usually bake them.

I have never steamed them, have any of you?

  mom usually takes them and puts them in a pan, with brown sugar...

  Nope, haven't tried steaming them. Cast iron skillet, sweet taters and sugar is the best to me. Of course baked is good.[:D]

  My wife steamed some a few weeks ago in those new slicone bags. She used a little brown sugar and maple syrup in the water. They were awesome! [:D]
