New Phone
Just got back from the phone store with my new EVO 4G. Oh boy.......where have I been, this new tech is way over my head.
The guys in the store all laughed when they saw my old phone. One guy said that the pickers would probably buy it from me [:(]

My job destroyed yet another cell phone. Insurance company sent me an LG VX8300 
because the LG VX8100 which I broke is no longer made.
I like the color and slimmer profile of the 8300 better, but because it's smaller, the buttons are cramped together and my fat( read drunk) fingers hit two at a time. How can I send obscene, drunken text messages when I can't properly operate the buttons?0 -

ive actually not had a cellphone for about 3 years, when i was in highschool i had to have one, after that i got tired of carrying it everywhere, now this motorola is very slim, and lightweight, dont even mind having it, im not that good with directions but i love to drive all over, so i figure if i get lost at least i have a phone. 0 -
I have always had jobs where a cell phone was "necessary". About 2 years ago I left that life and said enough. We have been cell free since. I did find a pager and give the number to whoever is caring for my son (school, summer camp, select friends) and of course my husband. People go nuts when they learn we don't have a phone. [:0]
We have talked about it because there have been a couple of times when a phone would have been really handy. So yesterday we were heading to Maine to celebrate my nephews high school graduation. One of my brothers and his family had come for a visit and we were going up with 2 cars. They decided to lend us a phone for the ride up "in case we needed to communicate" since we were taking a different route than we normally would. About 15 minutes into the ride and 3 phone calls from their car to mine and I was ready to throw the damn thing out the window! [:(!] What a pain! I am grateful that they reminded me why I got rid of the thing in the first place.[xx(]0
