Thank you for the advice. I went with the BERSA

The Dutchman
I picked up an older Bersa 380 ACP. The dealer said it has a steel frame. Planning to shoot it this coming friday. Thanks for all your advice folks. Dutch

    I think you like it and I've got the Firestorm (Bersa Deluxe)380 and I love it and I have shot it around 1000rds and its like all guns it gets a little cranky if you don't clean it once in a while. It will eat about any ammo thrown at it, I'm shooting Brown Bear JHP and it rocks. I got the 10 round mags with the finger extesions.[:D][:D][:D][:0][^]

    That Bersa should be a great gun for you.
    They are just a practical everday use gun that work, and work good.

    You won't be sorry about your choice. Just make sure to practice with it a lot.... and even if it is more expensive practice a lot with the ammo you will be using for defense purposes...
