I was out cleaning the car and had set the call on my 4wheeler i saw a few landing in the field so i hit the call and boom i had 11 down before the hour was out [:D][:D][:D]0 -

When I pulled into the parking lot at work this morning there was hundreds of crows roosting in the pines on the other side. What a racket! I was thinking "Man, I wish I had my 22-250!" 0 -

You need one of those shotgun silencers, You can shoot hundreds of crows before they ever fiqure out whats going on.
We use them alot up here and are VERY effective with them[8D]
There even better when using sub-sonic loads, All you hear is the action cycling[;)]0 -

Well, Mine and my buddies were all custom made( Should have patented it, Because we let are design out into the public and now a company is mass producing them[:(])
So either wait for the next time we feel like making more OR here is a link were you can buy one for yourself. Trust me, They work REALY well with sub-sonic loads.

My first ever shooting experience was at my Uncle's farm outside of Oil City, Pennsylvania, when I was 8 or 9. He handed me a single shot, open sighted .22 and a box of shell and told me to go shoot the crows off the tree branches.
It took me 3 days and 4 boxes of shells to decide that crows are bulletproof.

I'll go out of my way to kill a crow.
Crows a re soe pretty smart birds. They pretty much stay far away from here. It's 310 yards to the tree line in the back field and if I see one out there, the 220 Swift comes out and a crow dies. Sometimes 2 or 3 if I identify and kill the lookout first.
Difference between a young crow and an old one, the young one can tell the difference between a broom and a gun, an old crow can tell if the gun is loaded.0 -
Out here we don't have many crows.
Ravens were put on a protected list because of the indian-based primitives to the south of us wouldn't sign on to a north american migratory bird treaty without protection for their "sacred" birds.
So, the joke here when taking shots at "the Navajo chicken" is...
"What's the difference between a crow and a raven? It's a raven when it's flying along, once you shoot it and it hits the ground, it's a crow."

I have half of a case of 16 gauge shells left for my Model 12's, so if you ever need any help eradicating crows just let me know! I can be there in about 90 minutes ready to do some shooting.[:D] 0 -

Remember when I was young I wounded a crow in the woods once. He started yelling and the sky turned black with the darn things. Was a little scary. Did'nt come home with any shells tho..... 0
