How many of you still pack your pistol in a business that has a sign stating "No weapons allowed."? I do unless there are metal detectors at the door. In Kentucky the law states that all they can do is ask you to leave.

Here is South Carolina's sign requirements. All of this must be followed to the letter for it to be a legal posting!
SECTION 23-31-235. Sign requirements.
(A) Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, any requirement of or allowance for the posting of signs prohibiting the carrying of a concealable weapon upon any premises shall only be satisfied by a sign expressing the prohibition in both written language interdict and universal sign language.
(B) All signs must be posted at each entrance into a building where a concealable weapon permit holder is prohibited from carrying a concealable weapon and must be:
(1) clearly visible from outside the building;
(2) eight inches wide by twelve inches tall in size;
(3) contain the words "NO CONCEALABLE WEAPONS ALLOWED" in black one inch tall uppercase type at the bottom of the sign and centered between the lateral edges of the sign;
(4) contain a black silhouette of a handgun inside a circle seven inches in diameter with a diagonal line that runs from the lower left to the upper right at a forty five degree angle from the horizontal;
(5) a diameter of a circle; and
(6) placed not less than forty inches and not more than sixty inches from the bottom of the building's entrance door.
(C) If the premises where concealable weapons are prohibited does not have doors, then the signs contained in subsection (A) must be:
(1) thirty six inches wide by forty eight inches tall in size;
(2) contain the words "NO CONCEALABLE WEAPONS ALLOWED" in black three inch tall uppercase type at the bottom of the sign and centered between the lateral edges of the sign;
(3) contain a black silhouette of a handgun inside a circle thirty four inches in diameter with a diagonal line that is two inches wide and runs from the lower left to the upper right at a forty five degree angle from the horizontal and must be a diameter of a circle whose circumference is two inches wide;
(4) placed not less than forty inches and not more than ninety six inches above the ground;
(5) posted in sufficient quantities to be clearly visible from any point of entry onto the premises.0 -

I do unless it is specifically restricted by law. I do not carry onto Quantico MCB when I go there, to church, which is banned in Virginia and the courthouse which is protected better than Fort Knox.
On a side note my local financial institution, Marine Federal Credit Union, recently took their "Do not carry" sign down . I always ignored that one anyway.0 -
In Pennsylvania, all they can do is ask you to leave. If you refuse to leave or stand there and argue, local PD will be called and it now becomes criminal trespass and you now have carried your firearm for "other than lawful purposes" and will be receiving a revocation letter from the sheriff's office.
Concealed means concealed...I've never had a problem with it at any malls, etc.0 -
so far i have only seen 1 sign that said no loaded guns. [V]

In Texas if the store or business displays a sign in compliance with Section 30.06 OR the owner tells you that they do not want concealed weapons in their place, then you MUST leave.
Failure to leave or knowingly carrying into a place that displays the legal signage is a Misdemeanor (Criminal Trespass).
So...NO, I do not carry into a place that prohibits it. That is a violation of the law and as gun owners and holders of CCW permits, we MUST obey the law or get ready to have our actions used against us to take away the allowance to carry concealed.0 -
I have seen signs posted at Gun Shops and Pawn Shops. That's all I'm saying.[;)] 0
