Just realized something
My little 22 Mossberg 702, has had at least 10,000 rounds through it since I got it 2 Christmas's ago, the gun isn't even two years old, lol, I am surprised the thing held together after all of that, still has good rifling, good firing pin, nothing wrong with it.
I am thinking, one of these days I am gonna buy about 10,000 rounds of 22, and just sit at a range all day and just run them all through until, either the gun jams from fouling, or the recoil spring or firing pin fails, I've put my little 22 through hell yet it just keeps going and going

I got a Ruger 10/22 for X-mas when I was in high school back in '85. I didn't know you had to clean a .22. I bet I put 5000 rounds thru it before I cleaned it. Never had a problem. Awesome litle gun, It's still my squirrel gun. 0 -
we fired 550 rounds of wallmart federal through my new 1022 many years ago we had 4 shooters and 4 25rnd mags, load and shoot, not shure how long it took but we were waiting for the gun, it got warm. 0
