All the older songs that just puts a person into total contentment?


Right now on WUSF, there is a program hosted by "Bowser" from Sha Na Na, featuring all the groups from the 50's and 60's...Most are absolute heaven to listen too....

And when they get even earlier songs on ...1940s ---50s or earlier its good to listen too as well..

Why the older songs?...Times were hard, life was not much fun from what I have read, and then even later years life was rough..>I know mine was, so why do the older songs bring back such joy and contentment?

    Redheads???

    I have been crazy about Redheads since I was a little kid.

    I've never met one that wasn't nuts, in all kinds of ways. They've always fascinated me. Every type from Auburn with red highlights, to bright orange/red. Grey eyes, Blue eyes, Green eyes, and even Yellow eyes.

    I even married a couple.

    Their minds are quirky, to say the least, and totally bizarre in the extreme case.

    Skinny ones, chubby ones. Short, tall and in between. Knockout figures (the ones I married) to all the other types.

    Can y'all give me your thoughts about these exotic rarities??

    Do you guys notice the same things in them... or am I just psychotic??

    Please give me your opinions.

    Blue eyed, brown eyed, grey eyed, black eyed. All different shades, from platinum to dishwater to corn silk.

    Enigmatic, slinky.

    They are the definition of eye candy.

    I guess I'm looking for a jumbo Whitman's Sampler of them.

    Personally, I feel there ought'a be a law, mandating that every man, woman, boy and girl in this nation, must wear jeans.

    Boys and men, loosely fitting jeans....women and girls, maybe not so loose fitting.
