Bullit wins, simply because of McQueen, but I really prefer the chase in Ronin. 0 -
Bullit - hands down.

Here's the video of the entire 9 minute chase from Bullitt:

How many people did they kill filming it? Two or three?0 -
bullitt no doubt 0 -
Billit is the benchmark for all car chase scenes. A friend sells aftermarket wheels, says to this day he get at least one order a month for Bullit wheels.
Like the Tennessee country boy sniper in Saving Private Ryan- it too will immortalize.0 -
The Transporter 0 -
Here's another great chase I keep on forgetting about:

The french connection car chase ranks up there near the top too. Well... More like a train chase.

This is the only scene that could unsear Bullett.

Bullitt.
The Transporter was entertaining, but way too much of it was implausible. Might as well have had it been a Bond chase, diving underwater and becoming a sub or the like.
The thing about Bullitt is, they didn't have CGI and other special effects we take for granted nowadays. That was all real drivers in real cars flying around at real speed, crashing into walls and losing 8 wheel covers. The no-fake-stuff rationale is why I have to give it the nod over anything relatively recent like Ronin, Bourne, etc.0 -
Nothing tops the Blues Brothers, nothing. Can you count the number of wrecked Police cars, good luck ...
Jake and Elwood Vs. All comers ...

Got Ten minutes?

Bullitt! I think they lost more than 8 wheel covers. I keep losing count every time I watch it. 0 -
Gotta be Jason Bourne driving with one arm. 0 -
No doubt.... Bullitt. Steve could have used positraction in that stang. You cant beat 2 "manly" american made cars like a mopar and a mustang.
Nice Winchester 97 the bad guy had.0 -
How 'bout the original('73) Gone in 60 Seconds. The chase is 35 minutes long, nonstop. This one was shot without any permits. They just set up and went for it. 0 -
