Ipod help

I bought an ipod from the flea yard this weekend and ill be darned if I can get it to upload songs---how about a quick lesson[B)]

  Anyone here familiar with using ipods?
  
  Here is my problem. I have 2 computers with itunes with libraries of songs I purchased. I am trying to put all the songs from both computers on an ipod.
  
  I can put the songs from the first computer on the ipod but when I plug it into the second computer it erases the ipod before loading the songs stored on the second computer.

  get a music downloading site, like Limewire, download songs on there, and drag and drop them to itunes. Did you get the itunes disk with the IPOD?

  are you using itunes?
  
  import music from file on harddrive into itunes then plug in ipod. it should automatically sync.

  I hit the button to turn off the auto sync off like a dummy!!! [B)]
