Their trash, my buddy went through TWO in a year, no games, just regular use, no smoke around it.

A used laptop in great condition is better than a new one any day. All the new ones have is Vista, and their NOTHING but trouble, trust me0 -

There are some good deals on reconditioned Dells out there (and other brands). I have had laptops for about 10 years now (back when Jacob was just out of diapers) and all of them but the first have been certified factory remans. Great luck with them. And I agree...ACER isn't a brand I would put my trust in. 0 -

I bought my dell inspiron e1505 off QVC with a extra 4 year warranty and a free vista upgrade. Haven't used the upgrade yet because of all the problems I have been told it has. Either way. QVC had me do 4 easy payments. Haven't had a single glitch yet. Great computer. Had it for over a year now. 0 -
We have 2 Acer p3 450's we got used from the gun show admin 3 years ago for $200 they were 3-4 years old when we got them, the key board on one is bad 8 keys dont work [ we just pluged in a fullsize ], and both batteries are shot, everything else works fine. I got them to play networked games that would not play on xp, but now we use them for surfing to keep our good comp from getting infected. 0
