Didn't find any real bargins, but couldn't resist adding a red dot to my AK. Put a new NcSTAR red dot and had to buy the mounts for it too. Did manage to find some other parts I needed for my other guns too.

Here is my AK with the new red dot on it.

I know what you mean, if I was looking for an ar, ak, or an AIRSOFT I would be set. Went to one last weekend and seemed to be all they had.(In Missouri) I have about given up on them.

I went to one last weekend and it, too, was "same old-same old" stuff at above-retail prices. I guess that's why they call them Gun SHOWS and not Gun SALES. [:(!]

I stopped going a year ago. All they are any more are the store front dealers who pack up their entire shop and set up at the gun shows. Same new guns at same high prices, nothing older/used/good finds anymore.

I seldom find anything I collect from the tables. However, sometimes the walk-ins and the deals made make it worthwhile to haunt the shows.

as you can see you are not missing out

I have been to gun shows in three states, UT,CO,AZ and find that the same things at all three once and a while you find a good walk-in that is if the dealers at the show haven't chased him down and bought it from for 1/3 of what it is now for sale for on their table.

I only go now for the reloading components, now that is where the deals are.

A few years ago there was a gun shop down the block from where I work, and I would go down over the lunch period and shoot the bull with the owner. I remember him telling me that most of the really good used older guns were fast going into collections and soon all we would find is the new guns and pure junk in the used category. Looks like that is coming to pass.

I went Saturday and was supposed to meet 3 people. Did not find any of them.

Sure seems to me that the same dealers had the same stuff as last year. If you were looking for airsoft they had it all.

I really wanted to buy some bulk bullets to try but I did not have enough $$$$

Had fun and wore myself out. I doubt I go again this was my second trip and it is just to crowded, the space between tables is just to small.

I spent all Saturday at the big Tulsa show.
I was surprised at the amount of jerky, jewelry, airsoft, etc.
It used to not be there at the Wannamacher show.
    I did find a 99% Ruger 1A made in 1976 in 7X57 caliber for $750.
    It is gorgeous.
    Also bought a .44 Blackhawk 3 screw for $650.
That was a lot of tables and walking for 2 firearms.
I was worn out Sat night when I got home.

I go to about 2 of them a year, I never look at the gun's way to high priced. I go to meet friends and once in a great while I will find a good deal on a box of slugs, I am an old so and so and now is the time to get even, I like to stand in the middle of the Isles and block trafic like the dumb so and so's did to me when I was younger.[:D][:D]

I used to go mainly for reloading supplies, but that has gone by the wayside out our shows,so seldom go anymore.
I do have a couple of shops around here that have everything I need so I support them and skip the high priced shows these days.
