I like the looks and the Bond relation. How are they as pistols though? Have a range report? 0 -
They seem like great pistols with bad trigger pull.
If they would fix that trigger pull it would be a great improvement.0 -
Anyone who knows me from other forums knows I am a P99 fanatic. I have convinced 15 people to buy them since Nov 06. 2 of them were people I met and let shoot mine. Most of the 14 took a chance based on my constant praise.
I got the SW99 clone first in 2005 - and I outshot a $1200 Springfield TRP with it. Afterwards, I found a Walther P99 A/S, and I find it a bit more accurate.
The SA pull on the P99 A/S is fantastic.0 -

Tatercats (my favorite user name EVER....by the way)...I had an SW99 when they first came out and I sold it to a friend of my husband's because I thought I could easily get him one....and the distributors were all out at the time. They are really good guns and I think it is odd that you cannot get a P99 in 45acp but you can get an SW99 in all three standard carry rounds.
Any of you want to save some money on mags....get the SW99 mags for your P99 they are the same thing and half price.0 -
Yes, the S&W mags are cheaper. The parts such as the SW99 guiderod and the rear sight is also cheaper if U order it for the SW99 - it is the exact same part as the Walther.
45 is mainly popular in the US - I guess the Germans don't think it is worth their time to make one in the Walther version.0 -

WHich version did U shoot? There is a A/S, QA and DAO trigger - 3 types. I personally only like the A/S.0 -
Shipwreck is right.....bad trigger is not a problem if you get the right version! 0 -
Well, the A/S trigger smooths out even better after about 500 rounds or so. 0
