Storm blew through here about 1 o'clock this afternoon. Been a long time, if ever, since I've seen it like that. 70-80 mph sustained winds for about 15-20 minutes with heavy rain. Didn't sustain any damage that I can find at my son's, my mother's or my place except for a lot of small twigs and branches all over everywhere. Just up the street are mature trees down as well as all over town. Roof of our church was reportedly peeled partially off. Power out over about 90% of town at one time or another. Train blown off of track south of town and reports of a retired police officer killed when a tree fell on his house. Lots more heavy damage throughout the entire area.

Weather reports say all of this started in Kansas this morning and it is now in middle Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.

    I saw it!! It'a a MONSTER... It hit Jamacia at a catagory 4 and did all that damage and it wasn't even in it's direct path. Poor Mexico.
