7mm express ammo?

hey everyone i'm new to the forms but i need help, i'm looking for rem ammo hesdstamped 7mm express(same as 280)either live rounds or fired cases. i have a 700bdl with the barrel stamped 7mm exp. i shoot 280's through it just think it would be cool to have that ammo to go with the gun would be grateful for any assistance. lok forward to replies. thank you.

    Welcome to Gunbroker Forums.
    I tried to locate some for you but came up empty handed.

    I do not believe anyone is manufacturing the 7mm express headstamped ammo currently and you will probably need to find some un shot box that has been in a closet.

    The 280 is an excellent round though[8D]

    Contact Iconoclast from this forum, or ask on the forums at www.cartridgecollectors.org and between one of those sources you will be able to pick up a live sample or 2 and quite possibly a matching box.
    I'm refering you to people that collect cartridges, and the 7mm Rem Express headstamp is more in that catagory than it is in the shooter catagory (in premo condition a live round should only cost you a couple of bucks).

    BTW, the 7Rem Express and the 280 Rem are the same cartridge, they changed the name because people kept confusing it with the 7mm Rem Mag.

    I've got three full boxes of Remington rounds. I'll sell you the best looking one for $25.00 + shipping. $25.00 doesn't buy much anymore and it'll cost me more than that to replace them with the Hornadys that my .280 Ruger loves by the time I drive to Cabella's to get them. I bought them 20 yrs. ago or so on clearance at a hardware store for less than $5.00 but that was then and this is now.
    Another problem is how to get them to you. I've never sent ammunition to anyone before. Don't know if I should just box them up and send them by mail or if I have to go through UPS and declare it as ammunition or what.
