Be sure to keep batteries in the flashlight - Does Crimson Trace make laser grips for it ?? Maybe put a red dot on the top ??

Can you get that caliber (5-7) in a 1911A1 ?? By the way, what does five dash seven mean ?? Seven MM necked down to 5MM ?? Seven shot 5MM ??

    Doug:
It's a 5.7 mm bore. FN advertises them as a FiveSeven. Really .22 cal. If you can find them, the original cartridge was a 28 gr round advertised at (I think) around 2100 fps out of the pistol. Magazine holds 20 rounds. Man would be well armed with this piece. Secret Service and some police agencies use it. Companion to the FN P90 carbine. Pistol is about the same phusical size as a 1911. Being most made from poly, its real light, low recoil but a pretty good muzzle blast.

Sorry, no crimson trace or red dot scope.

And, only 2 guns shoot the 5.7x28mm (sort of a shorter AR round) - only the PS90 carbine and this handgun shoots the round...

Congrats and good luck with yur new FN 5-7.

Not my cuppa, but that's why Baskins Robbins has 31 flavors.

BTW, how much $$ for a box of ammo?

I can get ammo for $16.99 per box of 50.

Well, if you're ever attacked by a hamster that's not rabid, maybe you'll have enough gun.

The American Rifleman Magazine article I read on that said they're accurate/lethal out to 150 yards. I've been waiting for a chance to hear about one of them from someone who owns one.

I read a good article on the PS90 on GunBlast.com. If anyone wants to read about the carbine. Neat looking round.

I haven't shot a varmint with mine yet so I can't report its lethality, but it will put a round completely through a 4x4 at 50 feet. Little hole in, big hole out.

    That would seem lethal.

I like the SS195 ammo. The SS197 uses a heavier bullet, but the velocity is substantially lower.

    Yea, but they expand better.
