The difference between dems and pubs

Dems will give the man a fish.
Pubs will teach the man to fish.

...it goes beyond that however,

Dems want the man to be dependant on government and government services.
Pubs want the man to be self-sufficient and make his own decisions.

    Used to be that way, not any longer. Blend the two and there you have it.

    Don't like labels. A lot of people on this forum are unionists. Does that mean they are liberals or conservatives. But wait! They are also want the right to own guns. Are they conservative or liberal. I think they are like me, hop over both sides of the fence from time to time. I call myself a centerist, because you have to be something, right?[?]
