hard to believe my dad has been gone a year and 2 months. seems like just yesterday.
who did we lose this year as a gb family?

    My Father March 19th and my best friends wife four days before Thanksgiving. A best buddies Mom in February and another dear friends Dad in August.

    Lost a volunteer worker at my medical group:
    Retired Master Sergeant
    Former US Army WWII vet who transferred to the AF when we became our own branch. Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit

    I lost my last two uncles and a aunt on my Mom's side. Out of thirteen kids of my Mom's siblings she is the only one remaining. Guess I am blessed.

    My Mother passed on June 5th.
    Dad passed last year on Oct 30th.
    I have lost 21 relatives or friends in the last 2 years.
    It's been a tough 2 years.

    hope not to jinx myself but all family present .i did lose a good friend thou .a retired buffalo police officer who lived 7 mounths after someone in a car turned left in front of his harley .

    Both my favorite preachers passed away this year. Adrian Rogers and D.James Kennedy. There's still some good one's on the radio, but those two were my favorites.

    Lost the best grandmother anyone could ever have, in august. She was 97 years old. Also lost a good friend of mine in may, he was only 43.[:(]

    Lost a friend from school. While we were never real close friends, we went to the same schools from kindergarten, through grade school high school, junior college, and we both graduated from SIU's College of Agriculture. We to school together for 17 years.

    He married a fine woman he met at Carbondale. They had 2 kids. They moved back home.

    An enraged man T-boned his car as he was turning into a little league ball diamond. The guy was attempting to chase down his wife and her boyfriend and was massing Randy as he was turning.

    The guy was binded with hatred, anger and rage, none of which are good qualities.

    Lost my mother last year in Nov. My father-in-law died a few days ago, on Xmas Eve.

    A life long friend of mine lost his dad about 3 weeks ago. Thats enough for a while.

    my wife has lost a grandmother last spring, a sister in july and a brother in september. hopefully that is all for a long time. it has been a tough year for her.

    I was talking to my wife about this. 2007 was indeed a crappy year. She lost her grandfather, whom she absolutely adored. I lost my Momma. And I'm a Momma's boy, so that hurt. And there isn't a person I work with that didn't lose an immediate family member. I'm really glad to see 2007 ride into the sunset.
