I've taken 2 mule deer. The 1st was a doe off of a local farm during a damage hunt. Took her with the .454 Casull at about 15 yards. The 2nd was a nice (but not great) 4x4 mule deer during the late rifle season with a .300 Win. Mag. at about 30 yards. The buck was taken in the sage brush. Both were harvested in SW Colorado.

10-12 does and ten points (on two different bucks[:o)])

All whitetails with several different rifles.

I feel a bigger rack coming on this year though (and two easy to fill doe tags)!

I have killed over 70 whitetails in central Georgia, I lost track at 50 or so. There are lots of little deer down there. I killed lots of spikes and does, only one or two bucks with big racks. I used 3 muzzleloaders, a 30-06 and a few other rifles.
I also killed a moose while on an extended camping trip in British Columbia in 1973, better not go into too many details on that one. But, it sure tasted good.

Some people never come back from those kind of trips.

All whitetail, and I stopped counting after the first 100.
IIRC my "high" season was 14 deer in 4 weeks (only going out after work, with no Sunday hunting), that I followed up with another 7 in March (TB eradication zone)

Nope. Not a big fan of breaks. Doesn't need to be "tuned" either. It will shoot 1/2 MOA if I do my part.

None. Been deer hunting 5 times, never saw one. Maybe this year!

    None.

    My confession:

When a boy of 6 or 7, I killed a barn swallow with a pellet gun from about 50 yards. Great shot, but I felt terrible.

At about 16 I shot and killed a duck while duck hunting, and felt even worse.

I know I could never pull the trigger on a deer.

More than I've cared to keep count of...probably a 50/50 split between bow and rifle...over 100 deer...all whitetail.

None yet[:(] I haven't been shooting real long and I want to work on my aim for now so I can get a good shot and not have it suffer and die hours/days later. Shooting for next year

Probably 50-60 whitetail and enough Rabbits&Squrrils to feed everybody in Ethiopia[:D]

All of the deer have been taken with a gun of some kind
