I gave it up years ago. Don't really see any sense in it. 0 -
[:D] Im waiting for this to go out of hand! [:D][:D][:D][:D] 0 -
I only mostly cuss when i'm mad...extremely mad. I know it's not right and try hard to stop it but..still do.
I've spent considerable time analyzing this, and all i can come up with is: let's just say it's an alternative to beating people..0 -

Do you sit by the rail road track and wait for train wrecks also?[;)]0 -
I know a couple guys who have what seems to be a touch of the terrets syndrome and atleast every 3rd word is the F word.
I am amazed at how these guys cant even see how retarded they sound.0 -

It's a habit that's hard to break. At least for me, it was. You don't realize how bad it sounds until you quit. 0 -

How did you stop?0 -
Pinkard and Bowden had a song called The Universal Adjective. Not sure if anyone has put it on the internet or not.
Pretty funny stuff.0 -

Ive never aquired the habbit my mother would have washed my mouth out with soap, then marriage and my wife would make me sleep on the deck. But I do manage to get out one or two bad words when I smash my thumb etc. 0 -
I try not to, but slip at times. You know what's funny? I cuss A LOT less now that I am married to Dawnie, who never bitches about it, than I did when I was married to #3, who nagged me about it all the time. When I was with that ******* **********ing *****, I ****ing cussed all the ******** time. 0 -
I can keep it under control around family / children / any other time it is inappropriate to, but my mouth isn't exactly clean. It is an extremely hard habbit to break, as anyone else here will attest to. 0 -

I am "church" folk.0 -
I try to avoid cussing...but I do slip up from time to time. 0 -
I rarely cuss, except when driving and working on a project.
Miami drivers are the worst. I find myself cussing a lot while driving. Mind you, out loud but with the windows up. Don't want to get into a road rage incident.
When working on a project, be it house repairs or wrenching on a car, when things don't go just right, I'll cuss.0 -
Only when I hurt myself. Regular use of curse words is, IMHO, indicative of a lack of intelligence, and a vacuous personality. 0 -
I don't trust people that are afraid to curse. Perhaps they think they are better than other people. 0 -
before having a daughter...cussed alot. Now that she is two and repeats everything...not much. 0 -

I just had this talk with my 12 yr old son. He got in trouble when someone was IM'm him that he had told not to. They went back and forth and they screwed up and said something about his mother. He replied back "Don't fu%$'n talk bad about my Mom. The problem was that he didn't clear the exchange out and mon saw it. I do not condone that kind of langauge from a 12 year old but I tried to make it better for him by saying " at least he was sticking up for you" to mom.
His mom had a talk with him and he was grounded from the computer for a week.
I told him that using the F word, N word or the God=--- words only make you look stupid. That cussing is only for the unintelligent. And also that I wish that someone would me this when I was his age. It is easier to not use words if they are not in your vocabulary to begin with.0 -
I was in the Army, and I am a third generation truck driver!
Hell no I do not FN cuss you SOB!
So take that and shove it up your A$$!

You say what you will about sailors....but I shure did when I was in the Navy....and NEVER do now. I let a "dam" slip out from time to time and that oldest of mine gets me so hot under the collar from time to time I can let loose with every substitute word you can think of....like friggin, dad-burn, gawl-durn-it etc!!! 0 -
A lot of cuss words used today are not considered cuss words. Society has devalued cuss words so much that most are considered normal. When I was growing up, ain't was a word that would get your ear thumped. Also, profanity could get you a citation if used in public. I cuss more than I should but would not if it was not as acceptable as it is. Don 0 -
I cuss to much wish i could tone it down. It is just my damn temper that get in the way 0 -
I have children, of course some cuss words slip out.....[;)]
In all honesty I try not to, but a few still slip out from time to time0 -
Yep. It was after they got to school before my boys learned that their names really were not "Dammit," and, "Jesus Christ." 0
