rain rain and more rain

we got back from vac. sunday night and it started raining monday around noon then about 8pm it let loose we got 5" last night anyone got a boat for sale [V][:D][:D]

    ...yep, it's rained some everyday for almost 2 wks...and a LOT since the 1st of the year.

    Few days ago got over 5" in a little over 2hrs. To date, we have recieved MORE rain than what we should get ALL year...in a regular year; but you know the draught we have been in for a few years, needed it BAD...now we get it all back at once.

    Sure made gettin hay in a challange, especially the wheat!...[;)]

    Vacation???? Hell, you stay on vacation boy!...[8D]

    Darn right. I have been trying to host a weenie roast for a month now, but it keeps raining. Lawn chairs will sink in the mud.

    Where we live in East Texas we have had 45 inches of rain so far this year, which exceeds our annual average with 6 months to go. Based on the last several years of drought we sure needed the rain, but not so much in such a short period of time. The up side is that all of the lakes and reservoirs are full (some overflowing); the down side is the ground is saturated and can't absorb any more rain for a while, but more rain is in the forecast.
