    go to fulton home page, then select m1 on left pull down.
    they have them there.
    everyone will tell me I dont, but I have a springfield armory M1 carbine

    46270: I have no problem with your claim. As a matter of fact, I have one also. Here's what happened...

    Springfield, INC. sold TONS of cast receivers about 15-20 years ago. Unloaded them. Found out it was not cost-effective to make complete rifles after the first batch of several thousand receivers was delivered to the company. Your gun is as good as the person that assembled it.

    USGI? I have one also. That Springfield Armory stamp denotes an arsenal rebuild. Best for the new year, Joe

    Check out CMP, they might have some originals left. Auto Ordnance/Kahr Arms currently produces them. IAI, which I think is now out of business, made them under the designation M-888. I have the IAI M-888 and after a break-in period, it works flawlessly.

    I ended up taking off the rear sight so I could read the engraving, sure enough It was springfield. But you would be surprised how many have told me I dont have a springfield.
    It shoot good, I like it.
    I have an M1A, M1 carbine, a SMLE in 308, jungle carbine that gibbs converted, I like it when deer hunting, but the metal butt plate lets you know when you shoot it.
