They had so much fun!
We took our three dogs to a city park last night where they have a doggie play area. There were about 25 other dogs there and we were concerned about how they would get along since our dogs aren't used to being around other canines.
But they had a great time. They romped and ran and played with the other dogs and generally had a ball. I was talking to a couple people there and I commented about how there was no growling or snapping and she suggested it might because the park is "neutral turf" and nobody felt the need to be top dog or defend their area since they were all visiting and therefore equal in status.
It was great for us, too. Those dogs came home and crashed hard until this morning. Peace and quiet reigned in the house all evening. They are overfed house pets not accustomed to so much physical activity and they were worn out.
But they had so much fun!
