The only meat I have in my freezer is 1/4 of a beef that seems pretty wild that I got from a local rancher and 1/2 a forked horn muley that my son killed last week and a few bass and rainbows from last year. Times are a little hard right now........[}:)][;)]

None right now. Finished of the last of the venison(whitetail) a few weeks ago. Haven't got many chances to get out bowhunting, but rifle season is only a month away[:D].

    Nothing ..... [V]

Last year was a dry year for me.

Archery season is in full swing, and the cooler weather is here to stay (hopefully). I almost had a shot on a nice big doe (whitetail) the other day, see my story in the Archery forum.

I gave away/donated about 200 pounds of various wild game meat (deer, elk, antelope, duck, goose, and huns) within the last couple of months. Kept about 50 pounds or so for reserve. I have an antelope being processed. General elk/deer rifle season starts on the 21st of Oct. Between my sons and I, we have 4 elk and 7 deer (WT and muleys) tags of opportunity to harvest. [^]

Have about a dozen squirrel and rabbits from last year that need to be eaten. Have to cook a bunch up this weekend. Between my son and I, we killed 6 deer last year and still have about 1 in the freezer. What is left is mostly ground. It will be gone by the end of the month, and then we can start fresh! Also have 4 geese that I was given about a month ago. Saving them for Christmas. Hopefully, before the end of the year, I will have to buy a new freezer for a bison. [:D]
