The older you get...the sooner you start to rise (I'll call it "growing up")[:D]. I always wake up between 5:30 and 6:10 am every morning unless I just got back from the West coast or I've been up late hitting the "sauce".[:0][:D][;)][8D]

If I have nothing better to do, I can go to sleep at 10pm and not get up until 3pm.

I've slept 24+ hours on multiple occasions before.

It's hard for me to sleep past 7am, even in retirement. I usually go to bed around 11:30pm.

I slept from 10 am Friday to 6 am Saturday, but that was because I was up from 4 am Thursday to 10 am on Friday.

It does not matter what time I go to bed, I wake up at 6:50 every morning no matter what. (give or take a minute) The alarm always goes off a few minutes later.

I awake between 6:00, and 6:30 AM every morning, regardless of what time I went to bed.

Usually 2 minutes before my alarm goes off at 6:00. Unless Ive been drinking or night fishing, or Heaven forbid both then all bets are off!

My four legged alarm clock comes and gets me up between 5:30-6 am every morning.

I get up at 4 to go to work. On days that I don't have to get up, the internal alarm clock makes me wake up anyways. If I can get back to sleep the latest is probably 7.

    Cubslover - 24hrs??

I have only done that once. Coming off a ship that I was working close to 18 hours a day for a week, after a normal 60 day tour. Hit port after working 12+ hours, hit the bars and drank hard and got in around 4AM, at the airport by 6AM, took till midnight to get to New Hampshire, rented a car, hit a deer near Portland, continued on, waited for a garage to open and cleaned around 40 lbs of deer from the rental. Dropped off the rental and had my mother pick me up at about 2PM. Rode 2 hours home and hit the rack. Dead to the world for at least 24 hours straight, could have been longer, was still confused as to what day it was when I got up.

I used to do it once a week.

At the time I managed a McDonalds full time and was a full time student and my social life was in full swing.

Every Sunday morning (about 5am), I'd get home from our weekly-weekend party. I'd crash in my be and would not wake up until 7,8,9am the next day.

You guys are wimps,.........I once worked 56 hours straight without sleep.
Big job, needless to say, and then I collapsed into bed.
Slept for 6 1/2 hours, and went back to my normal schedule. My ex-partner on the other hand, slept for about 24 hours, and he was 8 years younger than me.
Before there is a challenge,.......I couldn't do it now, age has taken its toll![:D][;)]

Work week time is about 9:30 - 10:00pm to bed and 2:30 alarm to get up. Weekend I sleep in a little and get up about 5:30 or 6:00.

6:15 a.m. weekdays. 7,8,9 and rare occasions 10 a.m. on the weekends, depending on how the night went. Try to get minimum 7 hrs, preferably 8. Many times only get 6 hrs or so during the week.

The next day always seems easier if I get enough sleep. If not, I'm tired and in a bad mood the next day. I'm almost 27 and the sleeping in days are getting harder to do. Unless I've had a few the night before.

I usually hit the sack between 11:30 - 12:30 and up around 5:30 - rarely still in bed by 6, daily.

Haven't set an alarm clock in nearly 30 years unless I have to make an early flight somewhere - no sense in tempting fate.

Until about 04:30 or so. I have a cat that can tell time. I have trained her to get me up no later than 05:00. I'm an old fart and need to get up or I get a sinus headache. Being old is not for sissy's but it is better than the alternative.

I think sleeping past 7am is nice, I've done it a few times.
Wife can sleep for 12 hours straight, don't know how she can do that.
