romanian gp wasr-10

i recently bought this rifle and noticed the front site post is tilted to the right (canted) is there a way to fix this? i know it the cheapest one available but its my first ak, i wanted to get a feel for one before i buy something better. just wish i could have brought back russian one from afghanistan

  I have heard of these having that sight problem, thank god my Romanian didn't have that problem, not that it matters I just spray with it anyways, as far as fixing that sight............I am pretty sure it is welded on.

  that is a somewhat common complaint about the WASRs, i would say if its no that bad, just learn to shoot it, taking into account the fact that its off.

  the front site moves from side to side with a site tool. Unless it is off to much you should be able to move the site to correct this. As for the Romanians being cheap I have never seen one break or fail to function. Sure they dont look as well in the fit and finish department as most but they will do the job just as well as any other brand of AK.

  MY buddy has a wasr-10 and he loves it. He has never had any problem and shoots it very accurately. I own a Arsenal SLR95....[;)]

  Send it back if possible- or take it to a gunsmith.

  get the side rail that attaches to it($30ish) and put your scope of choice
