Abrasive and hostile wishes for 4th of July
With all the well-wishing and feel-good stuff littering the bandwidth around here, I figured it was time for the other side to speak up and be heard.
I hope all of you have such a good time you puke kittens. I hope you're so proud to be in America and of being American that you can't sleep at night!
And when you're having fun with friends and family and barbecuing and lighting off fireworks, you'd damn well better remember that this is the best damned country on Earth, warts and all.
And I hope, no, I pray that all of you, your friends, and family don't celebrate recklessly and dangerously. Nothing would make me laugh harder or tell you "I told you so" faster than to have all of you come home hale and hearty and in good spirits and health.
And if any of you take offense at this - and lordy knows I hope you do - you can bite me. I'm sick and tired of bein' nice and kind and polite! Celebrate the 4th of July and have fun, damn it![8D][:D][;)]
