Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

If you can start the day without caffeine,
If you can be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food everyday and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when loved ones are too busy to give you time,
If you can overlook when people take things out on you,
If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,
If you can face the world without lies and deceit,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without liquor,
If you can sleep soundly every night,

You are probably the family dog

Isn't it interesting that Obamalamadingdong has visited the gulf coast to precide over a pending disaster and get his photo ops in, while he has not seen fit to visit Kentucky-Tennesee where 29 people have died, major cities have been devastated and damage already is in the billions? Could it have something to do with the fact that BP was a major corporate contributor to his campaign?

Why do we have the extra day in leap-years in February ? I think we should change it to June 31st. Wouldn't most people prefer an extra summer day to an extra winter day ? [8D]

Is it legal to hunt penguins? That's on my bucket list, to go penguin hunting. Don't know why, but I want to. I would think the best gun would be a bolt action varmint gun with a high powered scope, head shot them. Would be kinda cool, take some to a taxidermist and have them stuffed. Anybody know anything about this?

I don't want to get too political, but I was thinking maybe welfare reform should come before health care reform, thus giving the working people a little more money to purchase health care.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You
will have your heart broken probably more than once and
it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight
with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things
an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast,
and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too
many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never
been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset
is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be
afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never
    begin.

If the progressive liberals had all the money they spent on royal weddings, Emmys, Oscars, Tony's and other self aggrandizing activities they could well feed the starving children in far away places for which they lobby. But wait, if they did they would have to quit blaming conservatives for all the ills of the world.

This was Scotch taped over a urinal in a restaurant in Charleston, S.C. Kinda puts things in perspective I'm a thinkin!
" The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of ATTITUDE on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you.... we are in charge of our ATTIUTUDES."

heres a thought for you folks:

this year, most of your local police officers, fire fighters and emts will make 50,000 or less. these are the people that risk ther lives, work hellish hours, deal with the worst of the worst, to keep you, the people, safe

this year, our service men and women will be fighting an ongoing war against terrorism. whether or not you agree with this one, you might agree with the next war, should it be launched again YOU personally. these men and women will make considerably less than 50,000

this year, tom brady will make several million dollars. he will get paid whether the patriots win or lose and to some extent whether he actually plays or not. does he save your life? does he arrest criminals? does he put his life on the line so you can sit in starbucks and argue whether or not jackson did it? NO! he throws an inflated piece of pig skin around!!!

is this fair? no! i dont really know where this is going. the thought budded in my head during essentially the same conversation with a friend today

    nremtpatch.jpgmyoffice.jpgEMT1.jpg

Air goes in and out, blood goes round and round, any variation on this is a bad thing.
Turret mounted machine guns usually work better than lights and sirens

So this Muslim woman walks into the local lodge of The Loyal Order of The Camel Dung Brotherhood, and announces that she wants to be a suicide bomber and go to heaven and get 72 male virgins,
    They all stare at her.
Then they all jump up and chase her out in the street and stone her to death while calling her a S1ut.

Didn't happen but I thought it was funny

Im not posting this for the sake of starting an argument but do you think the increase in natural disasters worldwide and failing economy could have something to do with peoples morality falling? We have presidential candidates who are pro-abortion and pro gay rights. We have politicians who support same sex marriage. We have politicians who want to rebiuld a country were christianity is a sin. We have a democratic presidential candidate who has an athiest for a mother and a muslim for a father. We have a government who wants to take God out of our schools. A Government that wants to dictate what can and can not be preached in our Christian churches and at the same time looks the other way when other religions preach racism and anti American messages. Just my two cents but maybe if we would not stray so far from God the U.S.A. may return the great nation it used to be.

    Subject: Fw: 545 People

This guy hits the nail squarely on the head. Unfortunately, none of these 545 will ever own up to their responsibility in creating problems we face, or their failure to address important problems. To make matters worse, few Americans are sufficiently informed or deeply interested in what really is causing many of our problems. With one small group (545) lying, denying or pointing fingers at others, and one very large group (millions) uninterested in culpability, we have the perfect ingredients for a 'PERFECT STORM THAT HAS THE CAPABILITY TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY.

    RE-ELECT NOBODY!
Worthy of your time and attention regardless of your Party Affiliation

    545 PEOPLE
    By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ.

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation,' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses

provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Charlie Reese is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.

What you do with this article now that you have read it is up to you, though you appear to have several choices.

    1. You can send this to everyone in your address book, and hope they do something about it.

    2. You can agree to vote against everyone that is currently in office, knowing that the process will take several years.

    3. You can decide to run for office yourself and agree to do the job properly.

    4. Lastly, you can sit back and do nothing, or re-elect the current bunch
