#1 Do you really need that extra velocity? Most folks don't want to be shot at with anything - even the paltry .22 short.

#2 Since you say "10" rounds I'm guessing it's a 5 shot? It probably won't hurt to fire a couple cylinders of +P each time you change the clocks for Daylight Savings but for sure don't feed it a steady diet of high pressure.

#3 We all hope she never needs to fire it for effect.

Henry, I work out of town alot for weeks on end. We live in a rural area with very little crime. She likes the little Rossi because it was her 1st gun. She keeps it in her car. She sleeps with a 15 shot 9mm when I'm gone. She has 2 little gaurd dogs too! Better safe then sorry! [:D]

    Zebra,
My wife carries the same, I load 6.5grs of Blue Dot under a 158gr Hornaday XTP/HP , with a 550 CCI SP mag primer. I can hold 2" at 15yds with it, she's pretty close to that. Plus P loads are ok, but are lost in a 2" revoler. If you don't load yourself, look into Speer Gold Dot ammo, they have coommcerial loads worked up for snubbies. For what it's worth.
