Guy fires an AK-47 until it catches on fire

OK, somebody will have to explain this one to me because I don't get it.
The shooter was obviously doing this on purpose as he reloaded several times and continued shooting knowing the gun was actually on fire. What was burning, anyway? Oil? Fore-end material?
Is that a legal machine gun because given the monetary value of a genuine AK47 I can't imaging deliberately abusing such a valuable gun that way.
How much bad and unsafe gun handling and unsafe shooting can we take in one short video? He's waving the rifle around trying to reload without burning himself and spraying rounds all over the countryside with no real backstop.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to own any gun let alone a machine gun. This idiot should also be sterilized before he passes his abundant stupid gene onto another generation.0 -

AK47's are notorious for catching fire, very often spontaneously. If it wasn't for this fact, we would not have won in Vietnam and we would be losing the war on terrorism. If the gun catches fire put it out. Don't keep reloading (and waving the muzzle in all directions while doing it) and shooting wildly off into the trees. The gun handling demonstrated in that video was atrocious and unsafe in the extreme. The whole thing was childish and moronic.

The most dangerous thing this clearly knowledge lacking moron is doing is spraying bullets over the little trash heap... Not that the little dirt mound is an effective berm anyhow...
While not likely to do so on a flat trajectory, centerfire rifle cartridges can travel over 3 miles. What if there is a log cabin or secluded house 400 yards beyond those tree lines? What if an unsuspecting woman is walking her dog in the woods 500 yards away. We have no idea where that location is. He could have easily killed numerous people with such reckless behavior.
Letting the gun catch fire was flat out stupid, especially given the material value of full auto's nowadays. And pointing the muzzle in the air wasn't particularly bright either.
Amidst all of the things this clown did both prior to, during, and after this video was shot, he undoubtedly did something illegal - if not many illegal things. Perhaps you should be forwarding that video to the ATF instead...0 -
