    Oh YEA!!!!! long time getting back to limited normal, really sucks! and will never be the same, close but never the same.

    I ask because I tore mine in April, had surgery four days after the accident. It seems like forever even though it's only been a couple of months. Just now walking (should I say limping) without the boot or crutches. Trying to find out what type of healing time I'm looking at. Not to mention the beautiful 14 in. scar going up the back of my leg.

    Anyone know a good tattoo artist in the Virginia area???

    tore mine playing football, 6 months i could walk ok, took about a year before i could run, 30 years later it still bothers me at times.

    My bro' shot himself by accident in the heel. The tendon snapped and it really hurt. Emergency room treatment, visit by the deputy sheriff, surgery, etc. Took about 6 months to heal but no I'll effects as of this day.

    The doc says that I have to give up all the sports. I was playing volleyball when it happened. It's been hard this summer having to watch from the sidelines. I guess it's time for the kids to step up and for me to become a spectator.

    My mother had hers release from the heel two years ago. Surgury and something like a year to recovery. Still bothers her a little but she can get arround and at 90 now it's not the only ach or pain she has
