Hey I'm a Swede but that's from our buddy country Denmark
so Nicey then [:)][:I]
Imagine that anyway.Swedes .danish and norweigans have almost the same language ,some extra heavy accent in Denmark though.
So it makes it really easy if i go visit our buddycountries and can talk swedish there and they undestand us.But it's some old viking sideeffect i suppose.0 -
Being a dane... I always loved travelling in Sweeden and Norway.
Having been raised in Northern Jutland, not far from the two cities that is connected to norway and sweeden by ferry... just made it easier to visit our neighbouring countries.
Slightly different culture and ways of doing things - but in the end, we all get along.
I have experienced a barroom brawl though - us ( a few danes ) got into a small brawl with some sweedes.. I don't remember the reason.
Then, at the height of it all, in came a few norwegians and tried to break it all up - offcourse both the sweede dudes and ourselves jumped the norwegians. [:D]
And yes, the song is by AQUA (danish band), but.. I think the leed singer was norwegian.. I don't remember.
They were very popular just 10 years ago.
I think the company that makes the Barbie-dolls even tried to sue the danish band for "Putting Barbie dolls in a bad light"...
They lost.0 -
.... as a casting director - I see this every day. Kinda boring after the first ten thousand!

Used to know this danish guy before w a name if translated to english it becamomes Churchill [8D] I remember Saeby outside Fredrikshavn to be a particulary nice place.Looking like a small willage from the 1920's or sumthin 0 -
Yes, Saeby is a very nice little place.
Frederikshavn is also quite nice, but it's more of a "big city" - where Saeby has a nice country-side to it.
I grew up about 12 miles from Frederikshavn - a small town between Frederikshavn and Hjorring, out in the forest.0 -
If you want a good laugh Dennis Smith

Bommerang...I hatched the 1st 15 seconds and now I'm dumber. 0 -
I'm not much into danish music - but there are a few good ones.
There's AQUA as you allready know - but SAFRI DUO is also worth looking into.
They play drums - not always with sticks, but often with hands.
Dennis - mail me your adress, and I'll look some up for you.
I'm sure you will like SAFRI DUO.
http://www.safriduo.dk/
At the above website, a few singles will start up - giving you a taste of what they play.
