They are probably just bored to death glassing at each other ... a little entertainment from time to time won't hurt just to break the monotony [}:)]0 -

I was stationed right on the DMZ, across the Imjin River north of Freedom Bridge.. There were shots daily, they were just reminders that they were watching us..[:0] 0 -
North Koreans were probably just helping out their ROK counterparts - might have spied Lt heading up for a post check, give the poor guy on duty a little wake up call. I'm surpised it was even reported. 0 -
My son that was station there tells me that they have a gun range around there and the downrange side is North Korea. 0 -
just a normal pissing match. n korea knows they will get the old neutron bomb if they roll over our dmz like a speed bump. we could never defend that poop hole. the only thing that would save you there is soju and a hooker. at least you would feel good before you die. 0 -
Had a buddy stationed at that DMZ. He said they shoot at each other all the time but do not let it get out to the news to avoid escalation. He killed a few trying to sneak up on his missle installation at night. He said the sensors go off frequently and they blast away. He said they have killed a lot of deer in that DMZ too. This one must have leaked out somehow. 0
