Actually, there ain't no "rich" involved here. Selmer, TN is not that far from where I live and this has been carried on local news since day one.
She had some "top of the line attorneys" who "donated" their time to defend her
knowing they (attorneys/firm) would get national attention from the trial.0 -

that is exactly why i posted it. this lady isnt rich and she just got 3 years for shooting her husband in the back of the head in cold blood. lets face it, america just doesnt give a bababooey about crime and we dont punish criminals. unless of course they fondled a 13 yr old, then we call for the death penalty0 -
Actually the judge said two hundred ten days with credit for time served and seventy days to be served in a mental institution with possible probation after that.
This was an obvious miscarriage of justice, starting with the jury finding her guilty of voluntary manslaughter instead of murder.
Lack of justice in our legal system is nothing new. One case has nothing to do with another.
O. J. Simpson got away with a double murder altogether. Does that mean you think you should get a free one.
