Hey Nutfinn, what natural disasters do you have to worry about in Finland?

The reason that I ask is that that was one of the criteria that they used to base their decision.

quote:"Finland wins high marks for air and water quality, a low incidence of infant disease and how well it protects citizens from water pollution and natural disasters," the study said.

Plus they kicked Russian ass in WW2, and they invented the best wood stove in the world, the Finnish Fireplace.
I think I will move to Finland.

I've spent some time in Finland and would love to return. Green, 72 degrees in July (when I was there) and the biggest and reddest strawberries I've ever ate.

That does sound like one VERY nice place to be.....especially compared to Birmingham (which is becoming a giant ARMPIT of a place.) You could compare just about any place to Birmingham and I would have a hard time picking that stink hole.

jimdeere you're thinking bout our natives in this area called Same.
Lapplander...Well my province/state is called Lapppland
But sometimes they call the natives Lappar for some reason.Maybe coz they have their reindeers in northern Norway,Sweden(for instance in Lappland) ,Finland and nothern Russia around Murmansk.

Ps first time when i got drunk it were the finnish vodka Koskenkorwa i drun...drank.
