NRA, Democrats Team Up To Pass Gun Bill
The House bill next moves to the Senate, where gun control advocate Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., says he is talking to NRA ally Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, and there is a "very strong" chance of passage.

This is all over that VT shooter
These shooters that become political footballs to pass liberty grabbing legislation are suspect. It was a similar incident that got guns banned in Australia.
It's interesting what goes on at Virginia Tech.
There were many irregularities with the shooters actions, like, how he was able to carry on on campus for two hours driving across campus to a different location and mailing a package to CBS on the way.
Virginia Tech is located in Blacksburg, VA.
Blacksburg, VA houses a US government ABOVE TOP SECRET underground laboratory (in the side of a local Blacksburg mountain) that develops in conjunction with DARPA, weapons such as human robotic mind control programming
More on Virginia Tech:
* has on-campus experts in avian influenza H5N1, "the bird flu"
* active partner with DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency)
* actively works on neuroengineering projects (mind control)
* Virginia Tech students are frequently recruited by the CIA
V-Tech received and continues to receive grants for millions from DARPA
* active partner with DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency)
* actively works on neuroengineering projects (mind control)
* Virginia Tech students are frequently recruited by the CIA
* Virginia Tech is one of only three public universities in the United States to support both a military and a non-military student lifestyle
* most Virginia Tech alumni are, or have been actively involved with NASA

I fear what further restrictions the left wing gun basher will try and attach to this bill. Just stand back and watch what they do with it now that they think it will pass.[V]

Now this plan makes sence. They'll just disqualify as many as possible from ever owning firearms starting with the school children.
Congress Funds Psychological tests for Kids
Dave Eberhart, NewsMax.com
Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004
One of the nation's leading medical groups, the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons (AAPS), decried a move by the U.S. Senate to join with the House in funding a federal program AAPS says will lead to mandatory psychological testing of every child in America - without the consent of parents.
When the Senate considered an omnibus appropriations bill last week that included funding for grants to implement universal mental health screening for almost 60 million children, pregnant women and adults through schools and pre-schools, it approved $20 million of the $44 million sought, Kathryn Serkes, public affairs counsel for AAPS, told NewsMax.

I'm pulling my NRA support.Do you know what a cluster f*** this is going to be? What is going to happen is that thousands of people who have done nothing will wind up on the list.
Eventually anyone who visits a counselor will be suspect. Then it is up to you, at your expense to prove that you deserve to have your 2nd amendment rights restored....0 -
We at gunbroker can't say we didn't see this one coming, after the VT shootings, I am not happy over this compromise development, however If you trust the NRA, and I do, then there is a good possibility that the bill could have been much worse without the NRA involvement. 0 -
Without DARPA, there would be no internet.

I am tired of the lesser of two evils gambit....this bill will be a total cluster..it may not even be constitutional.0 -

you are absolutely right, Doug Wilson, DARPA has many other projects as well, often working with the majestic 12. Besides, they've had the internet for decades just now releasing it to the public, for a reason, track and control. They are always up to no good. The point was if the government can be tied to the shooter that would imply he's a political football, false flag type.0 -
I guess I'm in the minority here. I personally don't have a problem with insane people being denied a weapon of any type. 0 -
p3, you are not alone, I also believe that mentally unstable people do not need to have guns.
Also, I have worked with DARPA in the past. They are a group of people who are very patriotic (every one of them could make a lot more money in the private sector). As a group they have prevented the deaths of many US Servicemen. As to ARPANET (the original name for the internet), it was started to connect computers at College campuses doing research for ARPA. Darpa never actually operated the "internet". Domain name administration was essentially the only government in the internet (although secure nets still exist outside of the internet.0 -
Probably the bulk of us here at GB would be judged mentally unstable because of our political beliefs.
Thanks for steering me the right direction, old fool.
By the way you should have said "outside the World Wide Web".

I've heard tell of people in England being denied permission to own a gun because wanting to own a gun was evidence of mental instability which disqualified them from owning a gun. 0 -
So we've gone from VTech to DARPA to Mind Control(?) as sinister applications of technology?
Dontcha think there are other applications for neuroengineering? Like maybe allowing spinal cord injury patients a life free of pain? Maybe mapping the areas of the brain that control rage or schizoid behavior?
Better adjust those tinfoil hats; some of those rays are getting through!0 -
In Austria, you must pass a mental evaluation before you can buy a handgun..[:0] 0 -
Yupp classic ,that's the next step here to.... (Sweden)Presently run by gunhating consevatives that dont trust the people.
The downside to that is ofcourse that if you feel messed up for some reason and would like proffesional help, you really DONT want to do that coz then you WILL loose your guns..
But here it's the darn conservatives that want to enslave the people and therefore is scared for the people.
Over in USA it seemes to be the consevatives that is the good guys same as our liberals here...
Hmm so things are very different between USA and Sweden, but i stick around for a while and trie to learn what kind of voter i'would have been over there. But standing up for and trusting the people is definately our liberals in Sweden...Over there it seemes to be the conservatives.0
