Anyone ever seen?

Anyone ever seen a synthetic stock on a lever action rifle? I havent, but assume I will soon with Remington buying Marlin?

    Zipperzap, Does it handle well? Ive never seen one, I would like a Lever gun in that caliber.

    Yes, my brother owns a Winchester Black Shadow in .44 Mag. Pretty nice little gun and light as heck too.

    I put a deposit on a Marlin 1984SS back in June. Every time I inquire about the whereabouts of my rifle I get a song and dance about "we are trying as hard as we can to get you one".

    I have nothing against Remington, but I hope they don't try to give me a Remington/Marlin when it finally comes in.

    I had a Marlin 336 in one. Ugliest rifle I've ever seen. I believe the stocks were aftermarket though.

    You may have quite a wait as I see all my wholesalers have a zero balance or are allocated. Marlin must not be making any at the moment.
