I do believe, regardless of Israel, that they will threaten us someday, when the time is right, and they have nukes.

I think the Iranian threat has been overblown. Remember how dangerous Iraq was before we invaded? They had a million men under arms with so many black market weapons they could conquer the United States! Oh, and missiles filled with radioactive anthrax that could be launched in two seconds and reach Washington D.C. in four! What a pipe dream that turned out to be...
If anything, a more robust Iran would be the perfect counterweight to all of these Arab screwheads wandering around the Middle East. They'd be too busy rattling their sabers at each other to bother us any. And let's not forget the thaw that was occurring immediately prior to and right after 9-11. If I recall correctly, several thousands of Iranians (perhaps several hundred thousand) marched in Tehran in support of us after 9-11.
And then Bush had to go and open his damned big mouth about "Axis of Evil." I guess he forgot that Iran had supplied us with aid against the Taliban. Is it any wonder they don't like us right now?0 -

The Leader of Iran is the most dangerous man in charge of any country on earth. He loves death; he is under control of the Muslim extremist that actually run Iran. That makes him a rather big problem and somebody that will do what he says he will do.0 -
EMM - i guess you feel confident enought that iran wont give any nuclear help to a terrorist group ? also, i guess you are willing to forgive iran for the everyday killing of american troops ? i'm not. and NO, i am not joining up, but there are alot of younger guys who are and they are more than willing to go fight. 0
