WWII bomber crews wore parachutes and they did not always get out of a plane going down. Maybe it spun in, hard to make it to the door in that situation. 0 -
They were returning from a meet. Probably had them packed away. 0 -
Was the plane set up for jumping.Im not familiar with that plane,But the cessna 182 I jumped from had a door that opened up like a gull wing door.In its factory configuration it opens just like a car door.IE you probally wouldent be able to open even IF you had your chute on. 0
