Just received a message by email from support@GunBroker.com, subject is GunBroker Account Verification, Updade a Credit Card on File. It states that: Your account will expire unless you re-enter your personal information and provide Credit Card Information. If the information is not provided then your account will be deleted without the right to register again.
I would assume this is a scam and if so everyone should once again be make aware that such a request is again making the circuit.0 -

I didnt know you were LEO,after hearing you talk about snakes and lizards I assume you are in Florida.Nice place used to vacation there as often as possible until about eight years ago,I got married and my inlaws live in Orlando,so I try to get my wife to go to alaska now!! thanks for re-writing all of my posts with your version of whats "proper". you should quit being a cop and try your hand at publishing or book editing. or maybe seek employment with some communist regime as an "information director" to shield the people from "improper" material.

I think you are a little prejudiced on the subject of cops. You are overly defensive. I know i could not be a cop. I would be fired within 2 weeks. First time someone beat a kid or a woman i would do something stupid. Drug dealers would be beaten also. I know this thats why i am not a cop.
We had someone at work that was the laziest person i have ever seen. He has been a deputy for 14 years or more and loves it. That does not mean all cops are lazy.
I have had my share of run in with cops. I have 2 different assault on a police officer and 2 resisting arrest. Both cops plus a lt lost there jobs and 2 others got wrote up. Thanks to the SBI and witnesses the cops did not know were there. They tried their best to frame me.
Also i know cops see bad things and people dont understand. I am prior military and understand brotherhood. Their is good and bad in every job. I will say there are a lot more good cops than bad. I understand you have to harden your feelings to make it day after day either that or you will go crazy but its your choice. If its not for you change jobs.
I have also seen some great cops. I was ran off the road by a drunk driver and the driver ended up in the ditch. My daughter was with me and was ok but crying. I made her stay in the car the man was drunk off his butt and slid to the passenger side of the car. When the HP got there he had a few bruises and asked me how that happened i told him he fell down a few times. The cop just laughed and said i wish i could make him fall down some more.
Just remember there is good and bad in all professions. I respect good cops. I got pulled over the other day and had an excellent encounter. When i totaled my car a while back i had a great encounter. I had to beg the HP to not call the ambulance. I got stopped for an expired license plate and told the cop i had a gun on my left hip and all he said was ok. I thanked him for letting me know and i told him i would have kept on driving it because i did not know about it. I went to the police chief and praised him for his officers conduct.
Like i said there is good and bad in every job and it is not for everybody. I know its not for me. I am not a people person. I could do swat though.0 -

As many here will tell you, I'm not a real like-able guy anyway.
So I guess I understand where I stand, with you...which is nowhere.
I should think no different, after all these years.

I got a letter from GB that I responded to something I was not suppose to respond to. I have no clue what that was as I didn't respond to anything.I am confused. It was an automated email. Also why doesn't the email on GB work anymore. I cannot communicate with anyone off of the forums with the emails listed. They just get returned. This has been happening for about six months now.
